As part of the diffusion activities of the most recent printed issue of Mi Valedor, we accept the kind invitation of the Iztapalapa Historical Archive and its coordinator, the historian Beatriz Ramírez. On Saturday June 26th, a table made up of Paola Eguiluz (art historian, curator and visual artist from Ecatepec, State of Mexico), the supporter Guillermo (writer and photographer from Chimalhuacán, State of Mexico), Arturo Soto (photographer, director of communication of My Valedor) and the coordinator of the archive gave a talk to the attending public about the thematic axes of the edition, the way in which our work model operates and the options to collaborate.
The supporter Guillermo read a story that he worked in accompaniment of the editorial team of the magazine and that was very well received by the attending public and those who were present remotely, through the live broadcasts on our Facebook and Instagram. In addition, The valedor Arturo shared his personal experience with the project.
And it was a day of much good news. The supporters began to sell some of the photographs they have taken on the various tours that we organize. In this way, they can generate another income while promoting their work as creators. Happy sales!
Thanks to the Archive for the welcome!
