During the week of February 6 to 12, the art week took place in Mexico City. Different national and international artists gathered together, exhibiting in different fairs and events. The biggest one, Zona Maco.
Zona Maco is the largest art and design platform in Latin America. Mi Valedor had the opportunity to exhibit its publications in the editorial area, where magazines were sold at the stand.
We have a new printed edition, also available for purchase inside the stands.
Traveling is also about discovering the communities that take shape around art. On July 18, 2026, Oaxaca hosted the first edition of Trazo Town, a gathering that brought together illustration, fanzines, music, and independent design in a space where connection itself was at the heart of the experience. Mi Valedor was there to be part of it.
This weekend, while Spain and Argentina battled for the World Cup title, the collective San Felinos invited Mi Valedor to join a friendly game of street football (cascarita) with the Azcapo community at Utopía Azcapotzalco. With music setting the mood, attendees spent a warm afternoon enjoying the event alongside family and friends.
On July 14, Mi Valedor hosted a Fanzine Workshop at Museo Jumex as part of the exhibition Football and Art: The Same Emotion. During the session, participants created football-inspired fanzines to share stories, ideas, and reflections drawn from their own experiences.
