The Mi Valedor team had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history of the Palace of the School of Medicine, located in the heart of Mexico City’s Historic Center. This iconic building, which originally housed the Old Palace of the Inquisition, is now home to the Museum of Mexican Medicine at UNAM.

During the visit, the valedores toured the various rooms of the museum, where they explored ancient medical instruments, historical documents, and exhibitions that tell the story of the evolution of medicine in Mexico. Additionally, they learned about the architectural details of the building, designed by architect Pedro de Arrieta, and its transformation over the centuries.

This experience not only allowed the valedores to appreciate the history of medicine but also encouraged reflection on scientific advancements and their impact on society. Activities like this reinforce Mi Valedor‘s commitment to the education and cultural enrichment of its members, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in the national heritage.
We would like to thank the team at the Palace of the School of Medicine for their warm reception and for providing us with an unforgettable educational experience!
