On June 1st, the supporters visited the exhibition The Universe of a Designer. Alexander Girard, which is presented at the Franz Mayer museum. With documents, samples of his creative process and many finished pieces that range from industrial to textile, the exhibition takes a tour of the work of one of the most important designers of the 20th century, now protected by the vitra foundation.
The Franz Mayer Museum is a cultural trust administered by the Bank of Mexico, with a board of trustees established by the philanthropist and collector Franz Meyer (Mannheim, Germany, 1882). A non-profit institution with more than 35 years dedicated to preserving, researching and presenting the extensive collections of books, paintings and decorative arts that constitute the Franz Mayer legacy, as well as other important collections. The venue has been a great ally that has opened its doors to Mi Valedor for some time in various exhibitions and events.
The Franz Mayer Museum always encourages innovation and creativity in society by conserving, researching and spreading art through its permanent collections and temporary programs. It seeks to be an institution of excellence that provides experiences of knowledge, enjoyment and learning, contributing to the training and development of the human being.
We greatly appreciate the support that the museum has provided to Mi Valedor for so long!
